Privacy Policy

This policy describes what Angelya collects, how we use it, when we share it, and the choices you have.

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Simple Aura LLC collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use Angelya, including the public website, app, publishing scheduler, API, MCP access, and related services.

Angelya is built for creators and teams who plan, schedule, and publish content. That means we process account information, publishing content, connected platform data, and operational information needed to run the service.

2. Information we collect

Account information, such as your name, email address, authentication identifiers, email verification status, and session information.

Billing information, such as plan, subscription, trial, checkout, renewal, and billing portal status. Payment details may be processed by billing providers such as Autumn and Stripe; Angelya does not need to store full payment card numbers.

Publishing content, such as drafts, post text, media uploads, alt text, schedules, calendar state, publishing results, platform account selections, and related metadata.

Connected platform information, such as OAuth authorization details, encrypted access or refresh tokens, platform account IDs, handles, profile metadata, scopes, publishing responses, and disconnect status.

API, MCP, and automation information, such as API key metadata, access scopes, request logs, agent or integration activity, and entitlement checks.

Technical and usage information, such as IP address, browser and device information, cookie and session data, pages visited, app actions, errors, logs, timestamps, and security events.

Support and communication information, such as messages you send us, email delivery metadata, and information needed to respond to requests.

3. How we use information

We use information to create and secure accounts, authenticate users, verify email addresses, process billing, provide support, and operate Angelya.

We use publishing content and connected platform information to draft, preview, schedule, retry, publish, and report on posts you ask Angelya to handle.

We use technical, usage, and log information to debug, monitor reliability, prevent abuse, enforce limits, protect users, improve product quality, and understand how Angelya is used.

We do not use your drafts, scheduled posts, uploaded media, or connected account content to train third-party or general-purpose AI models without your permission.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

Angelya uses cookies and similar technologies for authentication, sessions, security, preferences, and service operation. Some cookies are necessary for the app to work.

If Angelya adds optional analytics or marketing cookies, we will use them to understand site and product usage and will update this policy as appropriate.

5. How we share information

Service providers. We share information with vendors that help us provide hosting, databases, authentication, email delivery, billing, storage, monitoring, security, support, and related operations.

Billing providers. We share account and subscription information with billing providers such as Autumn and Stripe to manage checkout, subscriptions, invoices, trials, add-ons, and billing portals.

Connected platforms. When you connect or publish to a social platform, we share the information needed to complete OAuth, validate the account, upload media, publish content, refresh access, or report results.

User-authorized integrations. If you use API keys, MCP, agents, scripts, or other integrations, information may be available to those integrations according to the permissions and credentials you configure.

Legal and safety. We may disclose information if we believe it is required by law, necessary to protect rights or safety, needed to investigate abuse or security issues, or appropriate in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

6. Data retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide Angelya, maintain records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, protect the service, and support normal backup and recovery practices.

Some content or metadata may remain in backups, logs, audit records, billing records, or platform records for a limited period after deletion or account closure.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information, including authentication controls, private asset storage, short-lived asset URLs where appropriate, token encryption for connected platform credentials, and operational monitoring.

No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials, devices, API keys, and connected integrations secure.

8. Your choices and rights

You may update account information, manage connected platforms, rotate or revoke API keys, cancel subscriptions, or request account help through the app or by contacting us.

You may request access, correction, deletion, export, or restriction of certain personal information by contacting [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

Some information may be retained where required or permitted for security, billing, legal compliance, dispute resolution, abuse prevention, or legitimate business operations.

9. Children

Angelya is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to Angelya, contact us so we can take appropriate action.

10. International use

Angelya is operated from the United States. If you use Angelya from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other locations where we or our service providers operate.

11. Do not sell

We do not sell your personal information. We also do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are commonly used in U.S. state privacy laws.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you, such as by posting the updated policy or sending an account notice.
